Hello All!
I am quite sure that you have missed the blogging from me so far this semester. Well, baby I am back and ready to go for another most amazing semester. Luckily, being that we are actually already four weeks in, I am much less stressed and have a lot less work to do this semester. I am actually in a middle school classroom quite a lot this semester which is quite fun so far. I love getting to know the students and getting to know them. It is nice to be the teacher, but also the teacher who is still in college. The students definitely react to you a little differently. They know that you are a teacher and that they need to still respect you as such, but they still think you are cool and they can talk like a normal student. Those are always the fun times in the classroom.
It is definitely weird to think that I am back to school and settled into my 6th semester at SMC. I have to say that I am quite excited to be back because the break was some what boring for me. I had a wonderful time being home and seeing my family, but I do not have that many friends that were home with traveling and such for the holidays, so it could be pretty boring on my days off when the parents were working and no one else in the house. It was actually really fun though for New Years Eve though because I went to my friend Nick's house. It was really great because this was the first time I had met his family, all of them, and it was so great. They were such inviting people and I felt as if I was immediately accepted and comfortable in the house. It was just such a great three days with those people and also the food was delicious! (Thank you so much Jodie!) It was also sweet to hang out with one of Nick's brother, his twin, because they are really similar. It was kind of cool to have two Botto's around.
But now that I am back into the swing of things it is nice once again. I have to say that it is extremely scary being that after this semester I will be a Senior in college and soon after I will have to find a job. To be honest, what scares me the most is the fact that I know that the time is going to fly by. I have actually been here for about six weeks and it feels like we just started classes yesterday. The time always flies by because of how busy I am, but i want to start savoring the time I have here. What scares me even more is that all of the wonderful Seniors I am friends with now will not be on campus anymore after three more months. That really frightens me because there are so many good ones and I will miss them. But that is why I have to treat each day like it is the best since there is only limited time. So I need to start making those memories that will stay with me for a lifetime.
Keeping it real,
Yeshua (Joshua)
Hey Yesh,
You are so welcome and we look forward to having you back anytime even though your skill at game playing leaves something to be desired. It was great going off roading with you, nick and brig.
