Wow people, wow!
The last and final installment of the tale of Harry Potter came out on Saturday and again it took the world by storm! I must admit of course though the books have already taken me by storm and I also have already purchased the book and finished reading it by monday, two days after the book was finally released. JK Rowling is one amazing author and I am quite certain that she never imagined the impact that her book would have on the UK, and the WORLD!!!
We were talking about it in the office today because there are many Harry Potter fans/dorks in the office and we were talking about the books' popularity. Last year the author actually made 1 billions dollars from books sales and on the Forbes list she was second under Oprah Winfrey??? She was right below the richest woman in the world! She actually went from being homeless, to coming up with the Harry Potter idea on a train, and making billions of dollars in book sales! That is aboslutely incredible and boy do I hope to be as successful as her financially in the future! Absolutely amazing!
However, I must admit that I can not believe the series is done, and the last book was amazing so if you have not read it yet, READ IT SOON!!! But the series did have 7 books with a good number of them being over 700 pages, there was a lot she wrote about that world of witch craft and wizardry and I am almost glad that it is over, it almost needed to end. Now mind you, if she had written 15 books I would own all of them and have read them all, but it is nice that the reign of Harry Potter is over and I love the books to death. I simple wonder if another book series will ever be written that can be as popular as Harry Potter!!!...ummm, probably not!
PS- To you miss JK Rowling, nice work! You are seriously an inspiration to us all and all I ask is: will you write another book, "A History of Magic" like there is that book in the Harry Potter series? Because I really want to read that and I would love it!
