finding clutch music...

So here we go...

   Mallory was wondering today about a band that remade the song time after time. Now that old song originally was really not that good in my opinion and in Mallory's, and this sick little rock band remade the song. It is honestly one incredible version of the song and we finally found the band's name, they are Quietdrive. I must tell you all to check them out.

   I have already been researching them a bit and we both thought that their CD came out recently but they have actually been on the scene since the summer of 06. It is absolutely incredible to me that this band is not bigger than it is. I remember hearing this remake a while ago and it was only once. I liked it a lot and assumed i would hear it again so that I could get the band name and grab the CD. But I never heard the song again and kind of forgot about them. But now I am going down to walmart and buying that CD because many of the songs sound amazinggg!!!

   I really love finding music this way. I love finding good music from bands that are not wel known. Now I do know some people that only listen to underground music and they hate it when the bands get to popular, but I do not go out of my way looking for bands like this, however, if I do find one of those bands it is so sick! I really do hope they become popular because it would be cool if they became wicked popular after we found it. I can not wait to get the CD and start listening to it for the next month!

   I would also just like to mention that orientation is officially in 21 days and I could not be any more excited!!! I actually already sent out my letters to my o-group and I am so excited for them, I am excited to meet them, and I am excited that they are going to have their orientation so soon. It was such an amazing experience for me and got me so pumped for college. I want these new students to feel so welcomed and at home at this school. Because SMC is one of the most amazig schools and we have this amazing unique feeling here that feels like home. There is honestly no other place I would rather be!
